Lewis Lake Nature Park is a passive recreation area, named after former Mayor Peter B. Lewis. There is a small footbridge that crosses a wetland area at the north end of the pond
In the essence of preserving nature and environmental stewardship, care was taken during construction of the park to avoid removing trees. The path meanders around cedars, native conifers, and alders under a mature tree canopy. At any given time many different species of birds can be observed at the park including great blue herons, ducks, geese, song birds and the occasional raptor. Fishing in the pond is not great, but it is not uncommon to see neighborhood kids fishing for sun fish at the south end of the pond.

Pinnacle Peak Park is a 375-acre park, surrounding a volcanic cone that rises straight out of the Enumclaw farmlands and towers over the White River. Also known locally as Mount Peak and Mount Pete, Pinnacle Peak is one of the most popular hikes for Enumclaw and south-county families. Trails climb the north and south side 1,000 vertical feet to the top of the 1,800-foot geological knob. Once you get to the top, you will see extruded outcroppings of columnar basalt, concrete footings of an old fire lookout and best of all, spectacular views of Mount Rainier and the White River valley.
The trail from the parking area on the north side of the park is named for Cal Magnusson, a long-time Cascade mountaineer who worked at REI for 25 years with famed mountain climber Jim Whittaker. More recent acquisitions on the south side of the park provide another access to the peak along gravel roads and even more spectacular views along the way.
